Traffic Monitoring

Traffic Monitoring in Dunkeswell, carried out by the Police following the councillors meeting with PCSO and other Officers in Dunkeswell with regard to creating a Speedwatch group, we received the following email to update us.

“To let you know that I  conducted speed checks in the area on 04/07/2021 with a special constable who was able to operate the speed gun. The speed check was conducted on LIMERS LANE, opposite HIGHFIELD ROAD in DUNKESWELL  for approximately 2 hours.

Most vehicles were driving sensibly according to the speed limit and I am sure our visibility contributed to that. We delivered words of advice and we also reported one driver for the offence of speeding where the speed was well above 30 miles/hour.”
